Gary Loves Books

Gary Hoover knows a thing or two about starting and growing companies. You might have heard about a little Austin based company called Hoovers Online…

Gary is putting on classes for kids and parents sharing his ideas and advice for would be entrepreneurs. I recommend you go to this once in a lifetime opportunity to hear it from the source.

I have wanted to do something like this for a long time.  I often talk to parents who wish their children could get more exposure to entrepreneurial thinking.  And I have gotten good reviews when I have spoken to students of all ages.

The class will only be $50 for students (junior high, high school, college, homeschooled), and $100 for parents and others.

While I will in no way dumb down my material, it will have a bit less lecture and a bit more class involvement than some of my other courses.

The day will end with an idea competition, and the winner will get 2 free hours of my consulting time.

To reach as many people as possible, I am giving it twice, Saturday afternoon, August 6 and again Saturday afternoon, August 13.  The same material will be repeated on both days, from 1 PM to 5 PM.  It will be like drinking out of a fire hydrant!

It’s at the Khabele School Studio, 701 W. 7th, at the Southwest corner of Rio Grande and 7th, just one block north of Opal Divine’s and the old Katz’s Deli.

A quick video which tells about the class is here:

And you can buy tickets and learn more details on the content of the class here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1919472193.
(It would make a great gift for any young person!)
